Meet at the hall at 5.30 for a 5.45 p.m. departure this Friday for the "New Century Challenge Camp" which runs until Sunday the 7th at Eumeralla near Anglesea. Total cost $25 which is due on Friday. Return approximately 5pm on Sunday.

Water Activities & Abseiling Camp over the weekend of November 20 and 21. This camp will be held at Clifford Park which is only about 45 minutes drive away. This camp will cost $30 per person
PERMISSION FORMS WERE DUE BACK TONIGHT

Next week we will be visiting "the PA People" at 2 Florence Street in Burwood. Meet there at 7.30pm. Pick-up from there at 9.30pm. Out of uniform night; wear your scarf please.
We will have an opportunity to build some PA systems and make a bit of noise. Learn about the technology that you see and take for granted every time you visit the theatre or go to a concert. Big speaker stacks, big amplifiers, big mixing desks, effects units, microphones, feedback and foldback. Scouts should bring ONE CD that you may get to hear played quite loud.

Thanks to the Scouts who came along to help out with the Cubs Space Night two weeks ago. Last week's newsletter forgot to thank Neil for coming along, so take a bow today Neil!

The Wine Bottling takes place on 6^th November. Parent helpers are desperately needed to come along and help out. We know it is a busy day with the election, the camp and the Huntingtower fair, but helpers are needed to make the day move along. Meet at the hall at 9.30 in the morning through to about 2pm. Even if you can't come for the whole time, even an hour or so would be appreciated. Contact Greg Milsteed for more information & to volunteer. Filled bottles can be picked up from about 2pm.

If there are any Scouts or Parents who are interested in attending an Asthma Victoria Emergency Asthma Management course for one evening, please let Cyclo know at your earliest convenience. The course is designed as an adjunct to a Level2 Workplace First Aid qualification. Cost will be about $15.00.
