Cubs Space Night
Scouts are requested to come along and help out with the Cubs Space Night tomorrow night Thursday 21 October at 7pm. Deep space participants are requested to bring their robot moths & bats (and torches) along. Please bring your water rockets, pumps and launchers too.
Wine Bottling Fundraiser
Once again this fantastic value event is being organized by First Waverley. Parents, families and friends have the opportunity to buy good quality "clean skin" wines at a great price. An added bonus is that this event helps to keep the scout fees down, while enabling the group to offer a wide range of activities. Please encourage your parents to support this fundraiser. Get them to take the form to their workplace and see how easy it is to help support our scout group.
Orders are due on or before 23rd October. The Wine Bottling takes place on 6th November.
Troop Council
Troop Council met last night. Hassle your PL to find out what's been decided for activities for the rest of this year and early next year.
Emergency Asthma Management
If there are any Scouts or Parents who are interested in attending an Asthma Victoria Emergency Asthma Management course for one evening, please let Cyclo know at your earliest convenience. The course is designed as an adjunct to a Level2 Workplace First Aid qualification. Cost will be about $15.00.
