Sleepover, Friday 25/6.

Hope you all had a good time at the sleepover! The tree planting was a great success with nearly 1000 trees planted in the morning. Thanks to all of you who came along and helped.

Cross Country Ski Day - August

The XC skiing trip is on Sat the 7th August. Put it in your diary NOW.
Meet at the hall at 6.30am for a 6.45 departure. Return about 6pm. Parents and brothers or sisters who would like to attend with the Scouts should speak to Cyclo ASAP. Permission forms are out tonight and due back next week.

ScoutSki

Talk to Joel Heath, Ric & Iain McCoy who attended ScoutSki '99. Apparently a good time was had by them all despite the minimum of snow!
It's rumored that Anthony JA was seen at Mt Baw Baw during ScoutSki.

Trivia Night - Scouts and Parents.

The PL's and APL's will be running a Trivia night for scouts and parents during Scout Night on the 4th August. Parents are invited (asked) to come to scouts for the whole night.
The last 30 minutes of this night will be devoted to preparation for the XC skiing day.

As you can see the renovations are progressing well, but please continue to be careful and sensible in and around the hall. Watch out for wet paint too.

Jamboree 2001

There will be an information night in Term 3 for parents (& scouts) to discuss the Sydney Jamboree which will be held from the 3rd to the 13th January 2001. The Jamboree provides lots of fun and activities and brings together thousands of scouts from all over Australia and other countries around the world.
