As you will have noticed, the Hall renovations have commenced. It is expected that they will continue until late in Term 2. Scouts are requested to behave sensibly & safely and keep out of the way of the building works wherever possible.

Meet at Sandown at 8-8.30pm. Pit 23. Wear your Scout Shirt & Scarf to and from the track.

You will need to bring your bike, helmet, lights, sleeping bag & mat, warm clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses & waterproof jacket.
Food and drink will be available from the canteen, or bring your own. A thermos of Milo would be a welcome friend through the night
There will be a going-up ceremony on Saturday at 3pm, so please plan to stay around to welcome Ross Perry and Hayden Milstead to the troop.

Each scout is expected to raise $20 in sponsorship otherwise a $10 fee to enter will apply. Money due NOW! 25% of the funds raised will be donated to Asthma Victoria.

Scout Expo
Accompanying Formula Bike at Sandown is the Scout Expo. This display fruns through the day on Saturday and showcases many aspects of scouting. Invite your family and friends to come and have a look. Have a look yourselves for bright ideas for future scouting activities.

Troop planning for the overnight hike in May will start next week.

All scouting families were issued with a book of 10 raffle tickets late in March. This is a great fundraiser for the Group with fantastic prizes. Remember that $1.50 from each ticket stays with the Scout Group. Ticket Stubs and your $20 were due TONIGHT. Contact Phantom for more details.

Details of scout ski in the next school holidays are in your copies of "Kaboom" handed out tonight. If you are interested in attending, please contact Cyclo and we will co-ordinate a troop entry.

Also in Kaboom are details of Deep Space 99 to be held in Canberra in the 2^nd week of the September School holidays. If you are interested in attending please contact Phantom ASAP, as entries close soon
