As you will have noticed, the Hall renovations have commenced. It is expected that they will continue until late in Term 2. Scouts are reminded to behave sensibly & safely and keep out of the way of the building works wherever possible.

Parents assistance will be required for scout supervision overnight Friday 30^th April from 8pm up to the finish on Saturday 1^st May at 3pm.

Sponsorship cards are available tonight. Each scout is expected to raise $20 in sponsorship otherwise a $10 fee to enter will apply. Money due NEXT WEEK! 25% of the funds raised will be donated to Asthma Victoria.

Please let your parents know that they will be contacted with their helper roster information over this coming weekend.

Congratulations to the Lemmings Patrol on achieving Silver at Strabroke Cup at Gilwell over Easter. Lead by Julien Goodwin were Thomas Radoicovic, Richard McCoy, Ben Stannard and Iain McCoy. The patrol all had a good time showing off their scouting skills. (& managed to feed the attending Scout Master & assessors admirably)

Term 2 will start off with a Bike Focus leading up to Formula Bike. :Later in the term there will be an overnight hike. If you are interested in learning to canoe/kayak, with the aim of running an overnight paddle, then please speak to Grizzly.
Other activities were discussed at Troop Council on Monday night. Ask a PL or APL for details.

Next week will be spent developing bike skills for night riding. Meet at AFL Park, Gate 2 at 7.30pm with your bike. Pickup at 9.30pm from AFL Park.
In the event of heavy rain meet at scout hall without your bike.

All scouting families were issued with a book of 10 raffle tickets late in March. This is a great fundraiser for the Group with fantastic prizes. remember that $1.50 from each ticket stays with the Scout Group. Ticket Stubs and your $20 are due back next Wednesday.

The completion of the rocket launchers will be organized for one Saturday or Sunday soon after Formula Bike

Please bring your bike on this night, drop off and pick-up from AFL Park gate 2

30/4-1/5 – Formula Bike overnight and through the day at Sandown.
12/5 - 1^st Waverley Scouts go to the Gang Show

19/5 - NO SCOUTS

Thursday 20/3 - Joint night with cubs for going-up ceremony.
22-23/5 - Overnight Hike
Friday 25/6 - Term 3 breakup
