Group Camp

The group camp was a great success. Highlights included lilo-ing on the Western Tyers and Central Tyers rivers, bush golf (which needs a bit of improvement or a lot more balls!) and some memorable performances around the camp fire. Congratulations to all who attended, and thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the weekend. Special thanks to Lynx for his equipment and to Mr Scully for driving scouts down on Friday.

Formula Bike

Parents assistance will be required for scout supervision overnight Friday 30th April from 8pm up to the finish on Saturday 1st May at 3pm.

Permission slips and a roster "preference" sheet are out tonight. Return on or before scouts next week please.

Stradbroke Cup, Easter

Permission slips and gear lists are out tonight. We will be departing on Friday morning at 6.30 am and returning Monday Afternoon. Cost $40. Money and permission slips to be returned next week.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Peter Bates on becoming Akela of the 1st Waverley Cub Pack. Thanks also to Steve Perry for his great efforts over the last few years. All the scouts and their families wish Peter and Steve only good things in their future.

Help Wanted.

Cuboree (a 4 day extravaganza for cubs) will be held at Gilwell in the second week of the school holidays. Our cubs are sending a sizeable contingent and would like some help setting up tents on Sunday 9/4. Please phone Akela (Peter Bates) on 9884-4591 if you can help out.
